Ingredients
  1. 1kg of apples, Galla or Golden
  2. 375g puff pastry
  3. 3 eggs
  4. 30g thick cream
  5. 100g caster sugar
  6. juice of 1/2 lemon
  7. 3cl Calvados
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 180C/gas 4
  2. Spread the pastry over a pastry dish
  3. Cut the apples in thick slices and poor lemon juice over them
  4. Place the apple slices tightly over the pastry
  5. In a salad bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, and add the cream, then the Calvados
  6. Poor over the apples
  7. Cook in the oven for 40 minutes until golden

  1. Enjoy with a glass of sweet cider.
